RPS Film Imaging is proud to have supported Academy Award Oscar nominated short film Shok

RPS is delighted to have been selected to handle the production and international distribution of digital cinema assets for Shock including DCP encoding, Blu-ray, PAL, NTSC & DVD authoring and duplication.

RPS is pleased to have been able to continue a close association with post-production supervisor Howard Dawson of Five Frames Left, who in December 2014 contacted RPS with reference to a DCP encoding of a short film was supervising. In conjunction with Howard, RPS was selected to handle creation and distribution of digital cinema assets for the short film.

The reputation of the film caused word to spread rapidly across the globe and we were delighted to learn in November 2015 that the film had been long listed for an Academy Award Oscar. Following this announcement RPS authored DVD and Blu-ray disks for distribution to the Academy members to facilitate voting.

Following a highly successful production and distribution of the short film, Shock Director, Jamie Donoughue, said this of his experience working with RPS:

"We worked with Simon at RPS to handle all our DCP creation as well as variety of other technical finishing. Their knowledge, speed of delivery and service is second to none. They are always on hand to offer advice and ensure the process is as smooth as possible. I highly recommend RPS and will be using them for all future projects."
